Stocks finished the day unchanged, with the S&P 500 up 0.09%. The index opened sharply higher, jumping by almost 0.50%. However, the SPY hit the call wall at 415, and that region marked the top of the day. There is just nowhere for the SPX to go at this point. I have been saying this since pre-CPI. The call wall hasn't budged, and the cash S&P 500 is at 4,200 and has remained there. So unless that level pushes higher tomorrow, there isn't much higher for the index to go.
