Stocks Stall For Now
MICHAEL KRAMER AND THE CLIENTS OF MOTT CAPITAL OWN AAPL
Today was a lackluster day for the stock market, with the S&P 500 finishing flat. However, there was some significant movement in interest rates, which rose following the highly anticipated Survey of Senior Loan Officers. From my perspective, the data was difficult to interpret accurately.
Fewer banks participated in the survey, which led to an increase in the reported percentages, despite a decrease in the actual number of banks reporting a tightening of lending standards. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that the number of banks that significantly tightened their lending standards did fall.
